Dear , In the middle of your post is the excellent news that the tissue is healthy. I think that that is SUCH an important point and I hope that through all your troubles you and will be able to focus on that. Good luck with the remainder of the investigations. Also, to , itsounds like Tia is in good hands. I'm hoping her surgery goessmoothly and that it brings her MANY, MANY years of relief!Today, had an EGD done by our local gastro. doc. The docsaid he did a dilation, so I right away asked if it was balloon orsavory. He said savory and I think 54? Does anyone know, does thatrefer to the size, like balloon dilators come in different sizes? Anyway, I asked him where in the E he dilated and he said that thesavory does the whole length of the E. I never knew they worked thatway. I know that it's a much milder dilation than with the balloon, though, because 's had that before and it didn't do much.At his last EGD last year, he had a few spots with

someirritation, which they biopsied. We were a little worried that he wasgetting some reflux and that he might have some more irritation goingon this time, the good news is that the tissue in there lookedhealthy. I asked him if he wanted to see a neurologist (like hehinted at at 's office visit last week) and he said it might notbe a bad idea. That makes sense to me, but I don't know if theneurologists even know a lot about E motility disorders (let alonehave any tricks yet to treat it). I'll keep you posted if he does goand if this doc has any special tricks up her sleeve. Have a great day, everyone! in Michigan Send instant messages to your online friends http://uk.messenger.

Thanks, Ann! Another interesting thing: I asked the doctor if he

could see any scaring from the 3 rounds of Botox 's had. He said

he couldn't. Sounds like another thing to be thankful for!
