Guest guest
I spoke w/ Kathie yesterday. She is eating better, but is having a lot of pain leftover from the surgery. She is only comfortable on her back, getting out of bed or moving much is difficult. She is doing some work, but having trouble concentrating, maybe from the anesthesia hangover. The surgeon went into several areas to remove the lump so there was maybe more gas and more disruption to her internal organs than a myotomy. She lost some of her appetite and some weight but is REALLY puffy from the gas still. She is very determined and optimistic. The lump came back negative, and also great news about her husband, he is in remission. Some of you may remember he has had numerous recurrences of cancer. She will be in touch with her chosen surgeon about his disappearing act. She sounds good and appreciates all the positive comments.
