Guest guest Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 Someone, today said they ate chicken and had to go to emergency. In my best 5th grader voice, "GET A CLUE, PEOPLE. YOU CAN"T EAT CHICKEN, DUDE." In my more diplomatic voice, in case you don't have a 5th grader around, "People, if you haven't had surgery, please stay away from chicken." In case you think it is just you, or you are a parent whose child has achalasia, eating chicken for someone with untreated achalasia is the same as gambling w/ unprotected sex. You might skate by a few times, but it will catch up with you. Stay away from chicken. Even prime rib is easier. Maybe a greasy chicken nugget that is really greased bread will work.... but chicken prepared any way your mother would recognize won't work very often and is a huge risk. Same as carrots and rice... quit living in a delusional world, Dude. Avoid the emergency room. Even greasy sauce doesn't really help much, Dude. Sandy in So Cal.... the 5th graders are starting to swarm in along with a few 2nd graders and it is a long weekend for us. All boys, and now they are starting to get smelly. My poor daughter, although she seems to be in the thick of it. Give me a chest tube please. Quote
