Guest guest
Hello All, It's been awhile since I have been in. I was very active here for a long time, but lately I have been too busy. I guess one too many discussions about " white foam " sort of got to be overwhelming..LOL Anyway you can read my story here in the Files http://f6.grp.fs.com/v1/oEDbQ-YsNGz_zdqR_a4O6-q-OEXOryv7- RB9zm45w9lYH0OAdh8G4Kr6PDgn56pag3fyi6YVp3qInjJZFwKqbqcbf_MVHQ/personal %20story/Introduction Also if you go to files and see anything posted by jc_elder that would me yours truly. I still read a digest of posts every day, but I just do not have the time to get involved again. I have always said, if anyone has a question or wants to talk of list feel free to email me. I have a question. I recently moved to Central Florida. I am wondering if any of my fellow Achalasians know of any good doctors in Orlando or that area. I know how to find one, but it's just easier to ask the Achalasia experts some times. The big issue for me is I have had 3 surgeries. I had a open chest myotomy when I was 17 and two other surgeries since. (no wimpy lap surgeries for me :-) ) There really is not much else they can do for me except remove the " E " . Recently I have had tremendous pain in the " E " and pain swallowing. I am almost afraid to ask what it might be. I need a doc who has some experience, not a newbie who wants to experiment & learn....LOL I have had more than my share of newbies. Any names you have would be great. I am willing to drive. Miami or Atlanta are not too far to find a good doc. I am hoping for Orlando though which is only an hour away. Thanks all, JC
