Guest guest Posted September 21, 2005 Report Posted September 21, 2005 Hi - I don't know if you'll catch this but let me tell you how sorry I am to hear about your Mom. Losing a loved one - especially one as close as your mom is never easy but you've already certainly had your hands full which makes it even tougher. I hope your husband does well with the Botox. It sounds like you got some good answers so I'm happy for you there. Sometimes just being informed and having the chance to really speak with the doctor is such a help. In your search for help for your husband, here is my 2 cents - for what it's worth. I did several accupuncture treatments about 4 years ago. I found them to be very helpful with my stress level and hence, my spasms. It was right around the time of 9/11 and then I got married 5 weeks later so it was a very high strung time and I managed to get through it all very well. I would do accupuncture again and recommend it to anyone. I myself have never done the antidepressant thing but I know lots of people here have and it seems to always be very effective. Hope you find some relief for your hubby - keep us posted and again, my heart and prayers are with you in the loss of your mother. take care, Happy Swallowing! -michelle in Va. Quote
