Hi Dawn,

I have not had anything quite like what you describe, but I do have a large

diverticulum about half way down. I sometimes feel it move from one side to

the other when I roll over in bed. It is usually not painful, but just now

and then there is an ache and a feeling like it is tearing! I gather there

is not much they do about this, and the gastro say I must try amd empty it

by having a large glass of water and rolling around in the bed and then

walking around (LOL). Not much help to you! Perhaps you should go and ask

for a barium x-ray - if it is a diverticulum it would show up on that.
