They thought it was strictures (apparently from endoscopy, A is hard to see). What I remember? Well, I had 4 between Dec. 02 and Jan 04. They put you in " twilight sleep " and give you an amnesia drug. Apparently you are semi-conscious and can follow directions, but I don't remember a thing (some people do remember, but most don't). They numb your throat (I remember that) & the meds go in an IV. Afterward they had me drink some water to see if it " took " . Takes less than an hour, but of course with recovery, etc it is longer.
