I've always know that surgery was an option but was under the

impression that it was only a last resort.I was so sick right before

my 1st dilations that I didn't ask alot of questions.I've only gone

to GI's a few times since then.They opened up my LES enough for me to

swallow again (that was done 3 X's)The GI that referred me to CC

couldn't understand why I hadn't had the surgery.Just from reading

all the info on this site I understand more about it.I go Oct 28th

for testing and consult with surgeon.I going to have the surgery if

it it is an option. Sherry
