Guest guest
Hi, I've read all your posts to everyone and all the things you are feeling and experiencing are all normal. Post-op depression is one of them especially in a case where surgery is not a cure just a treatment. You expect to be 100% but that isn't go to happen. I remember crying almost every day. It has a lot to do with all the strange things you are feeling and the anesthesia. In your situation you had more than others. As for eating dinner at 6... I started out doing that also and nothing to eat after that. My favorite time to snack was always late at night when I was playing on the computer. I now eat dinner at 7 and have a little snack at 9. I do however go for a walk for about 20-30 minutes after dinner to make sure all my food has gone down. I haven't been bothered by anything at night lately. As a matter of fact I'm sleeping better than I've slept in years. Of course this is 4 months after surgery. Like I said yesterday, it takes a long time to feel better and you just have to take it very slow. You'll find out what foods and drinks you can tolerate and what times you can eat your last meal just by trial and error. Hope you have a great day Deb NJ
