Cindi, this is great news. I am so happy for you.

I am glad you found a good doctor that you can

communicate with.

I know it is good to finally be able to see the

Hi everybody!!!!

I feel like a new woman! I had the consult in

Hershey (Dr. Randy Haluck) & it went FANTASTIC. Everything I had

been researching, etc....this doc knew about. He was right on target,

has done many lap. Heller myotomies, it was a great personality match, he was

upfront about positives & negatives.

For the first time EVER, I feel like a medical person is

" walking with " me in this. I love my other doctors, but they

just aren't knowledgeable with A. Also, he told me about " the best

GI doc in PA " , Anne Ouyang, who is also at Hershey & very

well-versed with A. Hope this helps anyone from the area.

My surgery is April 19 & I will tell you anything

you want to know. I also (thanks to most of you guys) had 2 pages

of questions for him (he told me I knew more about A than he did! I

said, " Please don't say that. I already know that I know more

about it than any other medical person I have met before today! " ), all

of which he answered & I will share with the group as the topics come up

(I took notes).

I can't believe I'm excited about having major

surgery! But I can't wait! I feel like a huge burden has been

lifted (and thanks to " you praying people . Cindi from PA

That's great news! I'm so happy for you. I bet you'll eat better now that you know your surgery date is fast approaching :-)
