Guest guest
do not let my first few weeks or month of recovery scare you love.I have been reasured things do get better. When you can eat you eat good things and take a really good vitamin and just to tell you, depending on your situation I know in mine I can now eat about 1 cup to 2 depending on what it is. I know that does not sound like much but when you have not eaten for awhile it is a feast I tell you a feast. had his surgery 12 years ago and says his stomach has stretched and he can eat larger meals. But you know you will be so happy to eat that small amount several times a day will not be a bother at all.You know what you may not have any diahrea at all I went into this surgery with spastic bowel syndrome so I am not sure what is up with that. Also learning what you can and can not eat is a learning experience for us.I am hoping that in time I can introduce most things back into my diet. I had some weight behind me too when I went in to this so losing some was ok for me but you say you are only 105 to start. They say you should start gaining about a month into recovery. Please do not fret I am sooooo glad I went through with this. Believe me I had the same thoughts as you but with the help of the people on here and my Doc's info. I made the right choice for me.I hope I have helped and not scared you some more. Love to help if you want some. Bye
