This may be a perfectly wonderful suppliment but how would we know for sure? dear shelley very astutely put. the presenting problem for me then, is how do you determine quality in supplements? one reason i posted this specific supplement make was because i have been using doctor's best brand name for some time, and have come to trust the company, as they were the first to commercially market bentfotamine on a mainstream basis, so to me it was a life saver of sorts, and leading edge of sorts, and i just came to trust their cautions, advisories, and general presentations of medical information, just as i do twin lab. take care andy
Guest guest
It IS really hard to know who to trust. I have heard from some people that they wouldn't buy ANYTHING made by TwinLab. I trust Swanson Vitamins, but it is purely a subjective trust, as I have no laboratory in which to test their products. How does any consumer know whether or not to trust their source of supplements? We don't, as far as I'm concerned, until and unless some news story comes out that thus and such a supplier has been found to be perpetrating fraud with regard to what they sell. Guest guest
I will continue to trust and to buy from Swanson Vitamins, buying items that are " standardized " extract whenever possible, until and unless I hear something bad about them. Swanson Vitamins can scarcely EVER be beat for lowest prices answering the phone on 1st or 2nd ring 24-hour service low shipping price VERY liberal rtrn policy-they accept USED product and THEY pay rtrn shipping! matching other sellers' price-they REALLY mean it! exceptional courtesy from phone operators I do not think ANYONE beats Swanson Vitamins over-all. I was using Puritan Pride for a while, but then I had a problem with a return with them. To make a long story short, the company was so stupid that they undoubtedly spent MORE company money on time arguing with me about not allowing me to return the products than they would have had they just taken back the products without the fuss. That was when I dropped Puritan Pride (EXCEPT to check their prices to get Swanson to match them!) and began using Swanson Vitamins whenever possible! Guest guest
Sorry---with my apologies---how does what work? I mentioned several things, . I'll be happy to explain any one of them, but may I suggest you simply go to www.swansonvitamins.com and call them any time, 24-hours a day, at their toll-free number and ask them any and all questions you have? They are very, very nice, and will be happy to assist you in any way they can! I have to guess you were asking about: matching prices returning product---even open, used product them paying return shipping It's all true and correct. Just phone them toll-free and ask them! ;+)) > > Wow!!!! I never heard of doing something like that..how does that work? > > In a message dated 2/19/07 6:32:21 PM Eastern Standard Time, aug20@... > writes: > > > > That was when I dropped Puritan Pride (EXCEPT to check their prices > > to get Swanson to match them!) and began using Swanson Vitamins > > whenever possible! > > > > > >
Guest guest
Price matching is all the rage, dahling! ;+) Happening everywhere! Lots of places, including vitamin companies, say, " We guarantee lowest prices! Will match any competitor's price! " stuff like that. > > In a message dated 2/19/07 7:42:25 PM Eastern Standard Time, aug20@... > writes: > > > > have to guess you were asking about: > > > > matching prices > > Yes..I never heard of asking a company to match someone else's prices. > > >
