We have been expermenting w/laminaria for years - Mostly with prostate

cancer here in Florida. We find that individuals with heavy metal

(HM)problems

benefit from the usage of the brown seaweeds. My PSA went (6 yrs ago) from

6.2 to 1.4 in 3 weeks. Many others having the same results.

Have you had a HM test lately ? Hair-blood-urine ?

I heard a story today that a woman with breast cancer went to a

European clinic where they put seaweed on her breasts and stuff

drained from her breast and the tumor disappeared.

Anyone know where they do this and what kind of seaweed they are using

and for how long they do this before they see results? Could it be

the brown Laminaria seaweed? I know there is a lot of research coming

out right now about iodine and breast cancer, and I know women who are

applying Lugol regularly to their breast (including me) to get rid of

lumps or to prevent them. I would love to chase this seaweed

application info down.

Thanks,

Madeleen

Could you give me some more information about the way you use seaweed for

prostatecancer please. I'm interested to hear about that.

Thank you for the answer.

Hi , for this test you take 4 tablets of Iodoral (pill-from of

Lugols consisting of iodine/iodide) and you collect your urine for 24

hrs to see how much iodine you have retained. The % of iodine in your

urine will tell you how iodine deficient/sufficient you are.

Dr. Flechas at www.helpmythyroid.com has this test available

from FFP laboratory will send you a kit. You can request a consult

with Dr. Flechas afterwards. Tel number for lab is (877)900-5556.

There is now a Phase III clinical trial initiated by Symbolon

(www.symbolon.com)that uses 6mg of iodine (no iodide) to prevent pain

from fibrocystic breast or cyclic mastalgia disease.

Iodine has also thought to help ovarian cysts and possibly

endometriosis. If you want to read about iodine supplementation

cruise through www.optimox.com. A wealth of info there.

Hi Madeleen,

How much iodine are you applying and will white iodine work as well as Lugol?

How often do you apply it?

Thanks,
