Might Jennings be alive today if he had known about p-DOX?

p-DOX is known as 2-pyrrolinodoxorubicin or 2-pyrrolino-DOX, and was invented by

Dr. V. Schally a 1977 Nobel Prize winner in Medicine. It has been

patented

by Tulane University, New Orleans.

DOX is Doxorubicin also known as Adriamycin or " The Red Devil " .

According to Dr. Schally, " DOX is still the most widely used anticancer drug,

with the

broadest spectrum of antitumor effects... "

How much more effective might 2-pyrrolino-DOX be in causing the " Inhibition of

growth "

(Dr. Schally's phrase) of Small Cell Lung Cancer (DMS-53 cells) than DOX would

be?
