Guest guest
Might Jennings be alive today if he had known about p-DOX? p-DOX is known as 2-pyrrolinodoxorubicin or 2-pyrrolino-DOX, and was invented by Dr. V. Schally a 1977 Nobel Prize winner in Medicine. It has been patented by Tulane University, New Orleans. DOX is Doxorubicin also known as Adriamycin or " The Red Devil " . According to Dr. Schally, " DOX is still the most widely used anticancer drug, with the broadest spectrum of antitumor effects... " How much more effective might 2-pyrrolino-DOX be in causing the " Inhibition of growth " (Dr. Schally's phrase) of Small Cell Lung Cancer (DMS-53 cells) than DOX would be? Refer to Medline www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed , 9012839, second to last sentence of the ABSTRACT; in a laboratory experiment Dr. Schally found that - " ...In DMS-53 cells, the activity of 2-pyrrolino-DOX and its conjugates was approximately 2500 times higher than that of DOX and its hybrids...
