Guest guest
Hi...The best little book for the money is " The Grape Cure, " by Johanna Brandt. It is a wealth of information and will answer a lot of questions. [We all like the word " cure, " . Is it tied in with grains?]
Guest guest
As for " The Grape Cure, " by Johanna Brandt, how can someone who is insulin resistant go on a grape fast?
Guest guest
What I know from Dutch patients is that The Grape Cure isn't so good for colon cancer. But I'm not a medical expert. So ask your physician. Gr. kees braam
Guest guest
I think grains can prevent OR cause cancer, depending on the person, the grain, and how the grain is prepared. It's much better if the grains have been sprouted (for example, Ezekiel, Essene, or Manna bread -- avoid other breads) or fermented (sourdough), or at least soaked. The most common problem with grains are those with gluten, namely non-sprouted oats, rye, and WHEAT (gluten intolerance, wheat allergies), particularly (but not solely or always) for blood types O and B. Macrobiotic experts say BROWN RICE, BARLEY, and millet are the most cancer-healing grains. Best, though, not to eat a lot of high-glycemic grains on empty stomach. I agree w/most of what Mercola.com says, but I think he goes overboard and overgeneralizes about grains. I agree w/Loren's comments; IP6 can heal and prevent cancer.
