I've been reading " Cancer. Why we're still dying to know the truth " written by Day. Is it an extract of the bitter almond or is it from the apricot kernel, or synthesized? We cannot buy B17 here in Canada. I knew a Lady, several years ago, who went to a clinic in Mexico for bone cancer treatments with laetrile. She took very good care of herself, with the best home grown foods, etc. She was able to go to Portland Oregon and brimg home laetrile, or B17 capsules - what the arrangement was, I do not know. She passed away after living fo at least 20 years on Laetrile but I am not sure from what. She always looked very healthy. Excuse me if I have told you this before. I have a friend who is now 86, to be 87 in July. He is a publisher of a small non-party political journal. After a PSA, a digital examination and a biopsy, about 15 years ago, he was found to have prostate cancer. He did not take any orthodox treatment. I had become familiar with the prostate problem and had done my research, so I made him a few suggestions. He was the coffee King of Canada. He slept well on 2-3 cups of coffee with cream and honey before bedtime. While he read in the evenings he liked to munch on store cookies, and other munchies. This is just an indication that he was not so-called health conscious, like a lot of us, until we know better. When the Lady above passed away she had 2 gallon jars of Laetrile capsules. I was able to get one of them for this man. I also got him on Flor-Essence ( An Essiac product) He changed his life style. I installed full spectrum lights in his office where he spends probably 10 hours a day. For going on at least 15 years he has not suffered any symptoms of cancer. He published his journal, went on speaking tours, like he has always done. His wife found an interesting woman Naturepath who put him on supplements from Germay, etc, for the prosate gland. He has been taking this Flor-Essence faithfully all these years. He went on a small dosage of H2 O2 for a while. His PSA has stayed high and the tumor is still there. About 2 years ago his prostate had grown so that the pressue build up began to give him a problem with his kidneys. A catheter relieved him of that and his kidneys returned to normal. Because of that trouble they gave him a scan and found that the cancer had metastasized into his bones. However he has no pain, never did have, or inconvenience, and feels well. He does need more rest than he used to, and has cut down on his work load, but who shouldn't at coming 87. I listened to a tape of Dr. in which he talked about a patient on his treatment. The patient was doing very well, absolved of his problem. However, when this patient went home he was talked into going to a Doctor, by his friends, just to check him out for sure because the tumor was still there, but causing no problem. This Doctor insisted that he should have the tumor removed,which he did. Upon biopsy the tumor was found to conatin no cancer cells and was just a mass of fibroid tissue. Intersting?
