Guest guest
I always request the teachers for all my elementary ed teachers. The last couple of years the office has had a form that you can fill out by a certain date to " request. " . That doesn't mean you always get it, but usually you do. As for Maverick. In Feb I start going to visit all the teachers of the next grade. I decided who has the teaching style and open mindedness that I want for Maverick. Then, I meet with his team and we discuss it. So far they haven't disagreed with me. The last couple of years the principal and I have both written our choices on a paper and exchanged them....and they match. I feel parent input if very important since WE know our children's personalitys and learning styles better than most.

I would expect that all parents would have that right, at least for a reg. ed. teacher. Karyn
