Let's have a quick survey with both weekend dates and the people who can will choose which weekend they prefer. The only reason we wanted that weekend because it is a 3 day weekend. I think the rate of $69 as a room rate is very reasonable and it is not based on per adult. Also the fact that she will reserve us a block at the Brunswick, is a good sign. So we can have our own block and know we will all be able to stay there. I am also OK with either a Holiday Inn or Best Western, as long as they have what we are looking for. So anyone who booked at the Lancaster Host should try to cancel since they dont have enough rooms to accomadate us. And, thanks Beth for making the calls and doing the leg work! We decided on Lancaster and right now we are in the process of chosing a hotel that is affordable and that will accommodate all of us. We had the date picked, but so far that may need to be changed. I don't know if it's possible to contact Travelocity about how many rooms are available or not. Another option, a little Inn that's located in a great part. They say on the internet that they have only an outdoor pool, but they are converting that into an indoor one and it should be done in November. They will fax me the group rates in the am. The standard rate for double rooms is $109. They said we can expect a 10-15% discount on that, and if we get a meeting room, it gives us more of a discount. I'll let ya know more in the am.
