Guest guest
HI NAVIES OF NDHIWA CONSTITUENCY GREETINGS TO YOU ALL If you are from Ndhiwa Constituency, you must be happy with the creation of our new District and we say Kudos to Hon Orwa Ojode for that effort. Now, as citizens of Ndhiwa, I believe we all have to do something to make the district live to its name and obligations to its residents. It is one thing sit and whine at what the government should be doing and it is another to ask ourselves what we should be doing in our native land. The situation in Ndiwa is a dire one because it has the union of poverty and disease (dhier gi tuoche). Poverty + Disease = Hopelessness....this is what is killing most of our people. Ndhiwa is one of the areas with the highest HIV/AIDS prevalence rate in the country...almost, similar to Suba District; poor roads; limited access to clean water sources; limited access to Banks and loans; poor schools; limited access to medical care...the list is long....but the amazing asset that we have is that people are enthused and hard working. My take is that if all citizens of Ndhiwa (home and abroad) can feel this burden and each decide to do something from Village... Up, then, we can change the socioeconomic and health status of the constituents in a more rapid fashion.. Such efforts can only be impacting if they are well coordinated. That is why I encourage all NDHIWA CONSTITUENTS and FRIENDS/STAKEHOLDERS to caucus through this email.............. dhiwa2012@... . As a public health specialist and a community organizer, am very interested in fashioning the thoughts and transforming them into actionable items and execution ready. Our coordinated thoughts and action will certainly restore hope to Ndhiwa constituents. Remember, you can't solve all the problems in Ndhiwa, but you can be apart of the solution. Blessing to you all Owino MP, MPH, PresidentAfrican Health FoundationP.O.
