Guest guest
Thanks for the input, Judi, I have a juicer and a VitaMix; I use the juicer daily - usually a combo of beets, carrots, celery, and apple or pear. The watermelon suggestion is a good one - I had forgotten about it! Didn't know about asparagus. I guess I'm wondering if detox will = " strengthened " kidneys? Seems very probable, at least, and will be good for me in many ways. I probably should do a kidney cleanse - I have some information about that; I think it's basicly the same as a liver cleanse. I'll have to dig up my information about this. I had kidney stones about 10 years ago and was subjected to a procedure that used sound waves to " blast " the stones that were still in my kidneys. Well, it worked, but I wonder what damage was done to the kidneys as well. I was very naive about it and " assumed " that the procedure would use a very focused sound " beam " and target the stones. I don't believe that it was that precise... It's possible that my kidneys have rebuilt themselves since then, but I get occasional pain in that area that makes me wonder. I have found that placing a magnet on the area will usually take away the discomfort rather quickly! But I'm looking for a long-term solution... I'll be glad when warmer weather returns and I will have access to watermelons and other fresh fruits and vegetables that are hard to come by right now. Thanks for taking the time to write.
