I have photos on the site of me a year or so ago but none from when I was a child. Guest guest Posted July 16, 2006 Report Share Posted July 16, 2006 Hi Anja Our son Bipin is due to have his first op (lid lift) with Collin at Moorfields some time soon. He was supposed to have it last week in fact but it was cancelled because of an administrative error at the hospital. So we're hoping that a new appointment will come through for September. Bipin's pictures (before op of course) are on the photo page. I'll put up some post-op ones when the time comes. My husband Jakesh and his brother also have BPES and were operated on by Mr Collin about 28 years ago! He's clearly one of the most experienced BPES surgeons in the UK and probably Europe as well. Surely if they gave you a new date in writing they should honour it or give a new date very soon?? One good thing is I suppose is that you can enjoy your holiday in Spain and then have the operation when you get home. Hollys surgery is scheduled for Monday 4th September after missing the first one in May due to illness. Have a great holiday and let me know when you get a new date through.
