Guest guest Posted December 20, 2006 Report Share Posted December 20, 2006 Just curious to know it anyone or their child with BPES is affected with lower eyelid droopiness. Also, if anyone has had surgery to correct this condition, I would love to hear of the outcome. This issue has recently been addressed at my daughter's annual check up with her Opthomologist/Plastic Surgeon. I have chosen to postpone this procedure until my daughter has enough excess skin to also lift her upper eyelids higher, therefore performing both procedures at the same time. My daughter is now 12, and is anxious to improve on her appearance. She is determined to have eyes that look like " everyone else's " , though her surgeon is not comfortable with lifting her upper eyelids any further at this point.
