Guest guest
Hi I have blepharophimosis. I am 27 years old and have just been diagnosed with premature ovarian failure related to the syndrome. I am luck enough to already have a 3 year old daughter but am sad to know she will be an only child. I have my eye surgery at Great Ormond Street and all treatments were carried out by Mr . Does anyone else have the related ovarian failure? I feel very alone as not many people have even heard of the syndrome. Thanks B xx
Guest guest
Lucky for you that you have a child, I have ovarian failure due to this condition which started early for me. I n fact I wasted thirteen years of my life going through infertility tests finally to be told by the well known Professor Winston gynacologist that I could never have children of my own. When I questioned if my early menapause was to do with my eyes he said there was no evidence of it but then I doubt even he or his team had any knowledge of Bleph. It broke my heart so I understand how you must feel. bry_thomps <bryony2@...> wrote: HiI have blepharophimosis.
