Guest guest
Dear I enjoyed your description of your trip!! Hope you have a bright week. Sincerely Heidi Back from Vacation Howdy folks ;-) I haven't read any back mail for the last week, so have no idea what's happening. Just wanted to say I'm back! ;-) The first night we left Vermont and camped in NY at Crown Point, the second night at a beautiful lake near 's in the Adirondacks. We drove up to the 1000 Islands and checked out some state parks, but they were like mini cities. I saw the castle I used to be the caretaker for, then went to Cape where I used to vacation. Kept driving to near Syracuse where my uncle is. That's the uncle who prayed for me and I got better ;-) We camped in his driveway. The next day we went to opening day of the NYS Fair. My uncle Alby rented me an electric scooter and I zipped around the fair ;-) We slept late the next day! Alby then took us for a ride around the Finger Lakes and I got to see my old stomping grounds. We had lunch at the famous Doug's Fish Fry in Skaneateles, NY...yummmmmm!! Saturday morning we got up late again and went to the Syracuse Regional Market....it's a farmer's market on steroids ;-) We bought about $60 of fruits, vegetables and cheese curds plus got some of our favorite almond crescent cookies ;-) Then, off to the Adirondacks. Last night we camped in Moose River Plains, a place about as remote as you can get by car in the Adirondacks. We saw van loads of Mennonite families picking wild blueberries along the road. Came home by way of Indian Lake, Long Lake, Saranac Lake and Lake Placid in the Adirondacks. Then we took the hour long ferry from Port Kent, NY to Burlington, VT. Another hour and we were home. It was a fun adventure and I am *much* better than when I left. The peripheral edema has greatly improved and I went from a mestinon every 2 hours to a pill 3 times a day ;-) I had to come home because I have a doc appointment bright and early Monday morning. My husband, , was on jury duty last week and will be again tomorrow. We had the dog with us. While we were gone, last night, a racoon came through the cat door. It woke up in the middle of the night. The racoon was in the log rafters of the house and he couldn't get it down. Finally he just left the back door open. He sprinkled baby powder on each side of the threshold and in the morning he saw the prints going OUT ;-) I bet has a new appreciation for the dog! ;-) (wsm311@...) Guest guest
Hi Ilja! Welcome back! It is hard getting back on track after vacation, especially when the nap schedule changes! Since Dd was born, I try to do my workouts in the morning, I know I'd never do it when she naps --or it would be just my luck, I'd get into it and she'd wake up! LOL! She is a good sleeper though and htat is what made it possible to stick to a morning schedule. Guest guest
Thanks Carolyn! Guest guest
I came back Wednesday night from my Texas trip and I am having a hard time trying to get back into the swing for some reason. Most of the time I can't even remember what the day is. So I am hoping by Monday, I can get back to normal--if there is such a thing. I had a wonder ful time but let me tell you, the plane trip was terrible going down. We flew through some terrible weather and I was scared to death. We stopped at Baltimore and couldn't land, had to circle a few times, the weather was so bad. But the return flight, wasn't as bad, but I will admit flying isn't for me. But the trip was well worth it, because I had a great time once I got on the ground. My children spoiled me, bought me so many new clothes, had to get an extra piece of luggage from my daughter to bring it all home. I never realized how much weight I had lost until I tried on new things, and it seemed nice to buy smaller clothes. So as my kids say, I'm stylin now. Plus alot of other great things came out in this vacation too. So now I am back and going to jump back into a routine. I also found a great site --Kraft website, that can get my menus from. I am no red meats and I am doing 1500 cals a day and I can add or remove any of the things I don't like and it gives me all the info I need. Check it out, it works great for me. Makes it so much easier for me to decide what I want and gives me my menus for the week. So here is my plan for today. Good to be back and hello to everyone. Sunday meals Breakfast -Instant Oatmeal with Banana Lunch -Down Home Macaroni & Cheese Snack -Berries Dinner -Easy Chicken Stir-Fry Snack- A-B-C Peach Crisp lots of water

Guest guest
Hello Sherry, It is great to have you back. I have complete faith in you that you can get back on track. Just remember it helps to do LifeLift in small spurts if it makes it easier. Just do 5 or 10 at a time. That is only 2 to 5 minutes each time and build up to longer. This may help you stay with it and fit it in a little easier. I find all kinds of ways to work LifeLift in. I do it while I am typing at the computer. I put the commuter audio CD on and it helps keep me breathing without thinking about it while I type away and do what I need to do. I do it in the car when driving and it helps clear out my head. I especially like it if I have to drive for a long time. I do it in the shower or bathtub, in bed before getting up, while I cook, while I wash dishes, basically whenever I am not using my mouth for something else I will do a few LifeLift breaths. It can really make a big difference in how you feel and it can increase your energy so you feel more like doing a complete LifeLift workout. LifeLift can only work for you if you do it, so begin now by doing at least 10 LifeLift breaths while you read this message. Be Healthy and take good care, Rashelle Harness the Powerful Benefits of Oxygen with LifeLift. Oxygen burns fat, tones muscles, reduces stress Be healthier with each breath you take with LifeLift www.oxygenlift.net. LifeLift is the Original Aerobic Breathing Back from Vacation Hey guys! I went on a long weekend vacation. I only did the breaths on one day while I was away. I feel like I've put some weight back on since I left, but hopefully will get back in the swing of things. I'm feeling a little discouraged though..hoping this will really work to take some weight off. If nothing else, it does make me feel better overall. Just wanted to touch base again. Sherry What can changing the way you breathe do for you? Everything! See why tens of thousands agree, Life Lift is the best! http://www.oxygenzoo.com
Guest guest
Hi Sherry, I do Life Lift breathing the way Rashelle is suggesting that you do it. Each time I go to the bathroom each day, I do 10 Life Lift breaths. That way, if I go to the bathoom, say, 8 times a day, I know for sure that I have done 80 Life Lift breaths for that day. Then, I also do 10 Life Lift breaths right after I wake up in the morning and 10 Life Lift breaths just before I go to sleep each night. So, on a day, say, when I have gone to the bathroom 8 times, and have done 10 Life Lift breaths in the morning just after I woke up, and then 10 more Life Lift breathis just before I went to sleep at night, that means that I had done my Life Lift breathing 100 times that day. So how easy that is? That, to me, is a fool proof Life Lift breathing schedule!!! Love always, Pat Rashelle Haines wrote: > Hello Sherry, > > It is great to have you back. > > I have complete faith in you that you can get back on track. Guest guest
Hi Kathy, I got back from my cruise to Alaska on Sunday 8/27 (really at 2 AM on Monday.) We had some rain as well at each of the ports we stopped at but it wasn't a complete wash out. I walked a lot on and off the ship.... I wish I had brought a cheap pedometer to measure how many steps... oh well, can't bring everything. Anyway, I glad that you had fun on your vacation. --- kvetro60 <kvetro60@...> wrote: > Well, the weather was lousy thanks to Ernesto, but > we did manage to have fun along the Chesapeake in > land. Guest guest
Your vacation sounds more exciting than ours. My parents took that cruise 5 years ago and loved it! It's good you went when you did. The Alaskan legislature passed a new tourist tax that would tack on an additional $50 per person tourist tax. Can you believe?
