I am very sorry that you feel that you have to leave the group. I have always

felt that you had the groups best interest at heart. I DID NOT agree with what

Mike did or that he asked the group for help with his finances. I felt it was

way out there but chalked it up to all his personal issues. I hoped that you

talking to him would take care of that.  So, I felt it was best to just keep my

trap shut and delete.

I also have no problem with anyone practicing their religion in ANY way they see

fit but I do not want to see it here on the group. I feel that there are some

spiritual things that could be beneficial such as meditation or some such but

these do not stick anyone's beliefs down anyone elses throats.  I also deleted

those posts. I think its better to delete than to get all upset at times.

However, I dont want this list to become someone's religious agenda either. That

is NOT what I joined for.

If this is the type of thing that is going to take place in the group in the

future I do not know how much longer I will be here.

Hello Everyone,

I have had the privilege to be in your lives as the Co-Owner of this

wonderful group for some time now.

I thank all of you for your friendship, prayers and chats that we have had.

I feel that I must step down as the Co-Owner due to Mike's recent

behavior. I can no longer represent him in this group. I believe that he

needs to

keep his financial affairs out of the group. I am extremely upset that he

asked the group members for money. Although he did apologize for this,

in the same letter he STILL requested money saying that " no amount is too

small. "

I wrote to Mike personally today and told him that what he did was totally

wrong and that if a member of the group did that we would be all over him

or her and most likely ban them from the group.

Mike has told me tonight that he STILL doesn't understand why members are

so upset and what the big deal is....so I really can't say that his

apologies were sincere at all. He thought that this was a family...full of

friends...so what is the big deal. I find that totally offensive, and WILL NOT

be a part of this group, especially as a Co-Owner any longer.

Even though I will greatly miss being in the group, I must follow what my

conscience tells me to do.

With regards to the many beautiful friends that I have made, you know my

email and my phone number. You are most welcome to continue to write, email

and call me. I hope that you will, as your friendships mean a lot to me.

Kathy,

I agree with everything Kim said. I doubt I can stay long with this group

either, where the group owner is asking for money, and preaching religion when

we are here to discuss medical issues and neurostimulation to help us deal with

those issues. Where do we go from here? Is there another group we can join

that will give us what we had here, minus the religion and pleas for cash? If

someone starts an alternate group, please let me know. I have the greatest

admiration for the listmembers here, and was looking forward to getting to know

you all better. It's sad that it has come to this point.
