Guest guest
The following result may be due to the fact that half of AIDS is caused by factors such as bad water and malaria and malnutrition, while half might be caused by under nourishment and resulting cortisol secretion which suppresses immunity. Contrast what you know of the effects of anti-HIV drugs on the immune system with the quoted 50% effectiveness of vitamins being characterized as " slightly slower progression...the effect is not dramatic " . If 50% is slight and not dramatic, might we not expect more than " 50% " success from anti HIV drugs? And what do they actually deliver? Might a discrepancy here prove media bias? -Bob Washington Post 20040701 A3 Multivitamins Slow AIDS Effect in Study People infected with the HIV virus who take multivitamins every day have a slightly slower progression of their illness, researchers are reporting today. The effect is not dramatic but probably enough to warrant a recommendation. Supplements minus vitamin A[makes you wonder where they found multivitamins " minus vitamin A " , did they make them up special to prevent A from increasing the " slight not dramatic 50% " ? reduced risk of progressing to [even!] moderate AIDS or of developing oral ulcers[herpes] or painful swallowing[thrush?] by 50%[= " slight not dramatic " ?!].
