Pam . . .

YEA!!!!! So glad to hear about your toe . . . and I totally understand your

hesitance to say it out loud.

Yes, I still feel like I'm improving. I'm keeping journal notes on my daily

feelings. Today I feel like there is a noted improvement in my right leg

which is the weaker of the two.

So glad to hear your doing well too.

My Mom started taking it after the appointment with the herbalist confirmed

that she needed the same type of C that I take. She noted today (day 2) that

her hands feel a little stronger. YEE HAW!!

My Mom and I were tested by an herbalist. The fat soluble version tested

better for us. I take 10 capsules a day at 400mg and my Mom is supposed to take

14 of the same one.

This particular type of C is supposed to store in your fat cells as opposed

to the other kind.

Good luck!!!

Something caught my eye on that website. It noted " Ascorbic Acid

(Capsules, Tablets, Crystalline Powder - pH 2.1) - This was

Dr.ing's preferred form of

vitamin C. Its low (acidic) pH can actually be a boon to the digestion

of middle agers and those beyond, whose production of digestive acid

commonly wanes. Taken

with meals (as it should be), ascorbic acid can actually improve the

uptake and utilization of other crucial vitamins and minerals, like

iron. The fine crystalline, easy-to-mix, highest solubility Type 'S'

powder is ultra-pure,

appropriate for supplemental as well as food preserving applications.

Vitamin C in its simplest and most economical form. "

OK from reading the entire research paper of Dr. Fontes, this is the

exact kind the mice were given - mixed with water. Now, remember the

mice were fed this until their natural death. So obviously the mice were

aging and so were their digestive tracts. And yet, a 70% improvement in

mice who had been given the Vit. C was noted. Good news!

Rhonda,

From what I have found out, we all respond better to different amounts. I

checked to see if taking more than what I was told to take would help faster and

the answer was no. I'm taking 4000mg a day of the ascorbyl palmitate, which

is supposed to stay in your system until it's used up. This seems to be

working wonders for my mother and me. We are also in contact with a lab that

makes

it and they are going to try to get a higher level capsule available to us

soon. I'll keep you posted.

Good luck!

Hi!

The V-C I have is only 1000 mg- I don't want to take 10 of them a day.

Can anyone recommend a brand that has a higher dosage level?

Thanks as always,

Rhonda

I got the best gift I have ever had. My sister is sending me 3 months supply

of Vitamin C. For my family that is $200.00. I just don't know how to thank

her.

I am also using the little plastic pill keeper. I fill 4 of them up a night.

It is so worth it to be able to keep track of everyone.

Thanks Spy.

I can completely relate to the Easter candle story!! How funny.

I can only wear the Sketchers for a short time while my legs adjust . . .

it's different to walk in flats for me so my muscles have to readjust.

We will be at the MDA Spring Gala Saturday night and if there is dancing you

can bet I will be safe in the man's arms enjoying the festivities. : ) I am

the " celebrity auctioneer " for part of the event. As my significant other is

a musician, he and I will be the " celebrity couple " working the auction part

of the night. It will be interesting to see if he will be able to give the

puppy to whomever wins that one!! Hee hee

I LOVE Whole Foods!!!! I shop there every couple of days!!

My Mom has been taking the Ascorbyl Palmitate for one week . . . her

permanently curled toes have straightened!!!!!! OK, so only one foot, but the

other

one is worse so it needs more time. They have been curled for years and years

.. . . this is HUGE!!! Her toes are looking " normal. "

Peace,

Ed,

That is SO great!!! I can't wait to get updates on your progress!!

I take a fat soluble version of Vitamin C so that it stays in my system until

it is used up. It is working really well and the monitoring is showing that

I'm still needing the megadoses.

I pray this works for you and all other types too!!!

Thanks for the news . . . keep us posted!

I want to let you all know that my herbalist and I are working with Olympian

Labs to make a more economical way to get the fat soluble Vitamin C so that we

can take less and gain more benefit. AND, before anyone wonders, neither of

us will profit from this financially. He is always trying to help people

regardless of money and I'm just hopeful for all us . . . it's working for Mom

and

me so far!!

I take 4000mg a day and she takes 5600mg.

YEA FOR ALL OF US!!!!

Spy,

It took the mice 4 weeks to have any noticeable difference. The way I look

at it anything positive that happens the first 4 weeks is a bonus. Keep us

updated!

,

Just to let you know . . . if you take the fat soluble version as I do, you

must take it with a little fat in your system. A handful of nuts is enough fat.
