My name is Anika Penn and I work with Advocates for Youth in Washington,

DC. We are sponsoring several young activists from Sub-Saharan Africa

to attend the ICASA conference and are trying to link up with other

youth activists attending. We would like to arrange a series of

networking and skills building sessions for youth. Please contact me

(anika@...) with the contact information of any young

people attending the conference.

Thanks so much!

Dear Anika,

Hello and great to see this posting! I am not sure who exactly is attending the conference, but perhaps there is a way to meet also with youth who are not. For instance, I will pass this along to WSISYouthKenya--an ICT-oriented group but whose members are interested in HIV/AIDS and other issues--so you might want to meet with some of them. I am ccing this to several forums, and have bcc'd to some individuals, in the hopes that they will be attending or will be able to meet with you. I can also pass along some names privately as needed, and many thanks for this interest and hope you'll have some great attendance. All best wishes, Janet (Feldman, Director, KAIPPG/International, kaippg@... )
