Guest guest
One thing that I have noticed with high doses of iodine (Lugol's) is apparent increased reflux (GERD). Is this experienced by some people and what is usually done to reduce this (if you know)? > > Yes it is generally recommended that people fighting cancer attempt to get to 200-300 mgs / day. If you have detoxing issues then you need to back off and work your way off. I beat thyroid cancer with 125 mgs / day so it isn't an exact science. It is important that you concentrate on detoxing as well. Mercury amalgam fillings are a big factor - I removed 11 fillings and a root canal tooth and then chelated for over 1 year. Far Infrared Saunas are great to get the toxins out. Also a formal liver detoxification protocol is a great idea to help clean the body out so it can deal with the dying cancer cells. Check into the Gerson protocol too. > > Buist, ND HC > > > Mom with breast cancer > > > > I'd like to check for my mom, now 60years old, how much iodine she should take. She was diagnosed with breast cancer about a week ago, and she started on Lugol's 5 days ago. She is very determined to get better and take care of herself. So she was up to 150mg within the first 4days. She is on low carb natural diet, I'm a qualified nutrionist and she is taking all the information that I give. She is taking companion nutrients. Should she aim right to 200mg or even more? > Her lump will be removed probably within a month or so. > > Susa in Finland >

Guest guest
Susa in Finland or GREENAMYERSorry to hear about your Mom's cancer, my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer 2 months ago and has been sucked into to the U S treatment system, Surgery, Chemo, Radiation (cut, poison, burn), have not been able to get her to do any alternative treatments.I have been using Lugol's 5% for several of my health problems and got her to take a small amount of Lugol's 5% part of the time (50 mg), to small of a dose to do much good.Hope her cancer was found early and is slow growing to give you some time to find out if there are some good alternative treatments (iodine) that she would want to use.Look at www.cancertutor.com and use google to find other cancer treatments. Google (royal rife)Try to become as well informed as possible before doing any treatments that can not be reversed or stopped with out harm (Surgery, Chemo, Radiation)kmkFrom: GREENAMYER <greenamyer@...>Subject: Re: Mom with breast cancer, GERDiodine Date: Thursday, December 15, 2011, 6:42 AM One thing that I have noticed with high doses of iodine (Lugol's) is apparent increased reflux (GERD). Guest guest
Hi , prior to dealing with Gastroparesis (GP) , I used apple cider vinegar (1 Tab of Braggs) with honey and water 2 x's a days and where protonix , nexium etc did nothing , apple cider got rid of the reflux, gastritis pain and horrible burning in the stomach and throat within 2 weeks. I was back to eating citrus, dark chocolate tomatoes etc. But once I got dealt the GP card I have trouble taking the vinegar because it just sits in my stomach for hours and ferments and makes me want to puke so bad. I have been on Carafate to coat my stomach lining for the last 4 years. If I stop the Carafate I get the Gastritis so bad that it spreads to the SOD and the CP and then I am in a world of hurt. Do any of you think the iodine therapy may heal my flaming red stomach lining. I am at a loss because if I do lose my job I will have no health insurance and no way to pay for the Carafate. Merry Christmas. Need to make base. Making us more alkaline. An excellent condition.Organic Apple Cider vinegar has about 100 uses. It is excellent.mona
