Cimetidine (Tagament) versus Ranitidine (Zantac) Question

I am using iodine topically for skin mets successfully, but I have an alternative therapy question.On one of the many alternative cancer groups, Cimetidine was listed as an alternative cancer therapy. I happen to have well over 120 Ranitidine tablets prescribed for heart burn when I was on chemotherapy. I took a handful and have plenty left.In a google search they are both H2 blockers with Ranitidine also having the ability to prevent gastric ulcers from returning. With that being said, would Ranitidine work equally as well as Cimetidine as part of my alternative cancer therapies?Any comments?Joy from Tallahassee FL
