Hi, a while ago someone mentioned that he/she was getting the original hair

color back after taking iodine for some other health problems. My question is

for how long one has to take iodine? I myself I am taking LUGOL's for the last

five and a half months up to 200mg a day mostly in Coffee and some drops I do

paint on my hand where I do have Dupuytren.

Is it OK to drink Lugol's in Coffee.

Kind regards,

Micha

Micha,Getting color back is not a guaranteed result, only a welcome side effect for some people. There is no magic time frame, because each person’s journey in life has different variables of health problems, exposures, diet, life experiences. And there are different reasons people go gray. I have been on iodine about 3 years, and I have not seen any color returning to my hair. For me, I have been going gray since my early 30’s, so it was at least 15 years before I started iodine. At 50 I am naturally about 90% gray, I am not expecting that iodine will reverse it, but if it ever does, I will be pleasantly surprised!
