Thyroid - if it's cancerous

Hi,

I have an appointment in the summer to have my thyroid, both sides removed due

to a cyst. They say the cyst is benign but then yet 2 out 3 cancerous and they

won't know until they do the surgery.

For the past month I've been having very sore neck expecially on my left side

that it hurts to turn; and now for a week I've been having extreme lower back

pain, usually on the lower left but then at times all along the lower back, from

left to right, so bad that it's difficult to get up after sitting.

Would any of this back and neck pain have to do with the cyst?

I'm concerned.

Thank you

Louise
