Guest guest
Hi, I was unfortunate to be under a very tight schedule in getting the adrenal salive test and thyroid blood test done. I only managed to get 3 hours of sleep on the day I did the saliva test, anxiety was also one of the reasons. I felt about 30% worse than usual, especially in the evening as I usually get around 5-6 hours of sleep. Will the results be skewed because of my lack of sleep? Would this usually cause cortisol to lower or elevate? What about DHEA? My main problem with whatever is wrong with me is sleep maintenance insomnia which I've had for close to 3 years and very bad headaches which are made worse with a lack of sleep, not being able to handle slight stress especially when sleep deprived and being startled by loud-ish noises that don't seem to bother others. Thanks.
