I've been through this. Don't wait on the biopsy issue. Just clear it up. MJH > I went for my annual mammogram today. Guest guest
Hi, Hi I had the same issue about 1 1/2 years ago. I went in with a lump in my left breast and the doctor, was in no hurry, to test it. So what did I do, I went to 3 different doctors until I found one that would. Since then I have done, the biopsy, MPI, ultrasounds, Pet Scans adnd even though they all came back benine, she still check's me every 3 months, 2 make sure nothing has changed. Maybe you need to go see a different doctor. DX NOV,2003 Age 25 Gleevec 400mg > > I went for my annual mammogram today. Guest guest
Thanks to everyone who responded to my post. I was given a choice so I will chose the biopsy. My Primary Care Dr. has not yet received the test results from the mammogram and the ultrasound and he said he would call me when he got them. I'm sure then he will have me come in to talk to him and set up the biopsy. I am really going to miss him he is the best Dr. I have ever had. Both of my mothers sisters were dx with breast cancer in their 40s one lived and one waited way to long to go to the Dr. and died at the age of 49. So there is a family history of breast cancer. But others in my family have also had benign tumors removed. Whatever it is I want to know as soon as possible. I will update when I know what the test results are.
