I had heard your story before, about being cut off the drug, but maybe the situation is changing. Even if you don't get a cytogenetic response, the drug is still keeping you alive if it is controlling your blood counts. I have many old cml friends who are still 100% ph+ after being on Gleevec for years. Also, some people do not need to be on 400mg and do just fine on 300mg. All this is not totally understood.
