Health Protection Canada and Novartis issue warning on Gleevec CHF

Hey Folks,

Health Canada issued a warning jointly with Novartis regarding Gleevec and

CHF. This is really nothing to get too concerned about and it just seems

very prudent on the part of both Novartis and Health Protection Canada.

As you will see from reading the letter from Novartis, some of the patients

had prior existing heart problems as well as diabetes. All the more reason

why we need to eat right, exercise, and get enough rest. Geesh! Staying

healthy is almost a full time job ;-)
