Kathy, I think your assessment is right on. You might just do a trial of a

diuretic and see if it makes a difference. I could always tell when my

right ear was congested....and a few times it did cause some dizziness. I

have an Rx of diazide (which Dr. D prefers for this extent of edema) and

use it as needed, usually one pill a day for just a couple days....and the

problem is gone. Even if you had to take it daily. If you see a specialist,

definitely tell him about this possible connection because they might not

know much about Gleevec.
