It seems that I will finish a heavy period, clear up for a few days then start another heavy period then clear up for the rest of the month. Its very strange. My platelets are a bit low, 26? (not sure of that figure) but my GP said yeterday that if it drops to 20 or below then I might have to get some red packed cells and that this could be causing the bleeding. He has written a note to my haemotologist whether I should be given Tronexanic acid or hormonial manipulation. Any clues here?
