Hi , Thanks for sharing this interesting information. Maybe we will all eventually look like pugs! Parents of younger children on Gleevec have mentioned on various lists that some kids are having slower growth....so maybe this is involved in that. You might post this infor on Jerry's Childhood CML list. There have also been a few people who have had odd x-ray changes while on Gleevec???? The kinase enzyme is very active in the body I think....so these other involvements are understandable. When I first went on Gleevec, I had a bone density done (the full dexa scan) because there was some ??question or concern about calcium and Gleevec I think???? my bones are hard as rocks.
