Good for you! You can work around taco night - hey how about making it a taco salad nite for you? Load up on the veggies and lettuce and go light on the rest and leave the shells behind..... just a thought!
Guest guest
I acutally have it planned to have lots of veggie available and I am allowing 2 shells NO cheese. So I planned on breaking up the shells and putting them in the salad type of thing. WITH very little meat. If I can just have the TACO taste it would be satistying. Guest guest
> 2 shells NO cheese. Why no cheese? I buy the lower in fat Mexican cheese in the grocery store with a coupon and use just a little bit - enough to give a plate of food that little zing. You've got to get your dairy in somehow, right? I forgot I also have to hit the grocery store to get more of the low-fat mozzarella cheese for tonight's pizza! I *knew* there was somewhere I had to go after the doctor this morning! Guest guest
Waving Hi to everyone else from Wisconsin! Today I am staying home from work. I am sick as a dog still. I have a cold. And for some reason I am really hungry today. I think its because my throat feels better when I am eating some thing. I made up some kool aid pop's and hope that sucking on one or two will help me feel better. I did have chicken soup for lunch. And I may have more chicken soup for supper too. Its hard to starve a fever / feed a cold and still stay on my diet. Keep your germs over your way. I woke up with similar symptoms, but as the day went on things kind of faded away, so it must be some type of allergy. >And for some reason I am really hungry today. Don't you just hate days like that, when nothing you eat will satisfy you? Luckily they don't happen to me as often as they once did. > I did have chicken soup for lunch. And I may have more chicken soup Jewish Penicillin! One of my favorite sick-day meals. I always add extra garlic to mine, too, and a wee dash of hot pepper sauce. Really gets the sinuses flowing. I know you say > a cop out Nope! No cop out. We all have to do what feels right for us. For me that means weighing twice a day. For others that mean throwing out the scale. > Every morning I > wake up and RECOMMIT then I start about 10 am. I hate myself by 2 pm. I **hate** being in that cycle. Been there done that so many times. You think " ok I just need one good day and I can get back on track " but making that one good day happen seems impossible. How about if you lower your expectations? Just focus on something that you can handle. How about something like " I will drink 3 glasses of water today. " Or " I will park one row farther away from work then I usually do. " When we're struggling we need to set ourselves up for success, not failure. We can do this! Baby steps will take longer but you won't be nearly as tired when you arrive. Ann

Guest guest
My WW meetings were generally pretty useless, but I did hear this and it made sense (for those that enjoy the camaraderie of a meeting): If you gained weight, you need the meeting. If you lost weight, the meeting needs you. Eileen ---------------------- Great job exercising!! Remember that when you gain you need the meetingeven more than when you lose.
