Guest guest Report post Posted September 17, 2009 n NY Times today I was sad to see that , of , & died. It mentions she had leukemia and had had a bone marrow transplant a year ago and apparently died of a " complication of chemotherapy " . I wonder if she had CLL and how many more celebrities out there have it but never talk about it. It would be so much more helpful for those of us with CLL if there were more or any spokespersons to raise consciousness for research and funding, as there were and are for AIDS and breast cancer. L & L Society has now lost all its funding for the entire year 2009-2010 and my contact over there doesn't know if they will get it back even after that.
