Hi Nick,

I understand what you mean about dry skin, especially during the

winter. I know you said you don't want to take a " bath in lotion "

(and I'm not sure if this would be considered " bathing " ) but I find if

I put on lotion right after I shower, when I'm still damp (not

completely dry), it takes care of the dry skin completely. I wouldn't

say that I " bathe " in the stuff, just regular use, every morning after

the shower and it's really made a difference. There are lotions out

there that have no smell to them which you may want to consider if

you're worried about smelling like a girl :)

Unfortunately I have no suggestions for the muscle soreness other than

to say that it is a recognized side effect from the Gleevec.

Good luck with the surgery,

Take care,

Tracey

Hi Nick!

There is a great body wash that you can use in the shower

called " Aveeno " skin relief body wash. It has special oatmeal

moisturizers for dry, itchy skin. It's a bit on the pricey side, but

it works.
