Guest guest Posted February 23, 2006 Report Share Posted February 23, 2006 Well I guess I am not resistive to Gleevec seems like my very low platlets went up to around 14,000 and they want me to resume Gleevec at the regular dose which is 400.. I thought they would allow me to go up more they seem to get upset when I was at 4,000 gave me 4 units of platlets then they went down again now they came up a bit and away we go with 400 a day again.. As I have been on Gleevec for only a year.. I am not sure what to expect... but I guess I will have to play the game.. but after all these years I never had a rash and itch around my ankles like I have now and according to the doctor its due to low platlets. oh well thanks to those who answered..
