Hi Susie!

I hope your next round of Gleevec does better for you than in the

past. Crossing my fingers and toes for you! :-)

I think the general public generally thinks of cancer as either

being " cured " or " remission " , so I tell people that my drug, Gleevec,

keeps me in a form of 'remission', but that I need the drug to keep

me stable and to stay alive.

It's hard for people to understand, since it's such a state of the

art drug.
