Guest guest Posted November 14, 2006 Report Posted November 14, 2006 what is Leapster? is it a frog with something else in it? my son will be four years old next month? is it a good age??? smile.... kk -- Christmas Gift Ideas? Last year someone suggested the Leapster and we got that for Hunter. It was one of the best gifts we've ever gotten him. He still plays it each night before bed. So... I'm wondering if you all have any suggestions for this year? Thanks, Patty Quote
Guest guest Posted November 14, 2006 Report Posted November 14, 2006 Ok I have another gift question. It seems that who went to the circus on Sat nite is totally excited about the girl that gets shot out of the cannon. She starts counting down 5,4,3,2,1 and then starts shaking her hands and legs like a total wacko. This has been going on for years. By this age there is nothing to buy her that she likes....autism makes that a tricky thing. So I'm thinking how about one of those rocket things (unless I can buy the actual circus cannon and shoot her out of it...hehe just kidding) that kids can blast off? Those of you with young boys should have some experience with this. I really don't want to get the ones that zoom up 200 or 300 feet; I'm thinking more along the lines of a safe nerf type thing that could be used in the house. Is there such a thing? Sherry Quote

Guest guest Posted November 14, 2006 Report Posted November 14, 2006 How about one of those fly dancing dolls instead? I can't remember exactly what they are called - maybe it's sky dancers? You shoot them off and they fly off. Kathy Re: Christmas Gift Ideas? Ok I have another gift question. Guest guest Posted November 14, 2006 Report Posted November 14, 2006 -There is a blast pad toy--you can get it at hearthsong. They get to jump on an air filled pad and launch the rockets. My nephews love it. Z. -- In Down Syndrome Treatment , " gldcst " <gldcst@...> wrote: > > Ok I have another gift question.
