Our photo was the only Canadian selected so we were on 3 TV shows and 3 newspapers. Then another story when we returned from the buddy walk in New York. We went by train and the kids were great! drew the ferris wheel that he saw at the big toy store they have near time Square. He did such a good job at drawing it! We had a great time at the buddy walk! Our community raised all the money for us to be able to go! A woman who is now a dear friend in our community, worked with others to raise the money after she saw our photo on TV and heard it was chosen for time square. A very fun occassion and still talks about it! When we drive to Florida yearly, he says are we in New York everytime we hit ville! It looks just like NEW YORK with all the tall buildings! There are days wakes and asks to go to New York! Too funny! Congrats again Danny and Kathy ENJOY IT!!! Cheers! Guest guest Posted August 11, 2006 Report Share Posted August 11, 2006 Thanks,..NDSS will have it at their site after the Walk…you can watch it for free there. www.ndss.org his picture will only be on for a couple of seconds because they do a video montage of the photos… but I still think it is cool. We went 3 years ago and had a great time...it was a quick (and expensive) 2.5 day trip and we never left Times Square, but it was fun. I'd love to go back again someday.
