Early Registration ends November 12

The Centre for Neurological Development & Integration (CNDI) presents:

MNRI® Tactile Integation

Guelph Turfgrass Institute, University of Guelph, December 4-5, 2010

presented by

Poulin

International Faculty

The Svetlana Masgutova Educational Institute

Target group: Children who are born with abnormal tactile sensitivity do not receive reliable information through their skin. As a result, they feel insecure or fearful in unfamiliar situations, and are often unwilling to take the risks required for new learning. Other children are unable to develop trust because they have experienced punitive or inappropriate touch. In both cases, the nervous is mobilized for survival and/or protection and cannot support exploration and development. MNRI® Tactile Integration can help a child experience safety, from which trust can grow and healthy development can proceed. Workshop open to both parents and practitioners.

What you will gain: easy to learn and immediately applicable techniques to

Balance and integrate nine skin receptors

Enrich development of the brain

Enrich proprioception

Enhance neurosensorymotor integration

Regulate both hyposensitivity and hypersensitivity

Enrich cognitive skills

Your teacher: Poulin, is an outstanding instructor and highly sought-after practitioner. She combines an engineering background with a finely-tuned intuitive sense, bringing a depth of understanding to the Masgutova method which she generously shares with her students. She is an International Faculty member, The Svetlana Masgutova Educational Institute and MNRI Core Specialist.

Location: in beautiful Guelph Ontario, home to the University of Guelph, one hour from the city of Toronto, a 45 minute drive from Pearson International Airport. The Guelph Turfgrass Institute offers a rare country setting in an urban environment.

Private sessions: will be offering a very limited number of private sessions on Wednesday, December 8. Fees for each session is $120.00. Contact me for details.
