I just wanted to wish you the very best with your upcoming surgery on Monday!

I will be thinking good thoughts and keeping you in my prayers! I just came

back from my appointment in San Francisco with DR Serena Hu. I will work on

a post today to let everyone know how it went!

Dear ete, I am so very excited, and happy for you. I also have

been living with Flat Back for 4 yrs this past Dec & I have my 3rd

opinion with Dr Boachie in June. I have gone downhill alot this yr &

am actually, like you, looking forward to having the

surgery...........I wish it was tomorrow. I also have Adhesive

Arachnoiditis Class II-III & have already had 8 myelograms, 4

laminectomies & 2 major fusions.....the one that gave me Flat Back

was an Anterior/Posterior with bone grafts & Harrington Rods in 85.

I had already had alot of pain that required MS Contin since 98 &

then at the end of 99 I started with the Flat Back & this past April

my Pain Dr had to give me Actiq for breakthrough pain when MS is not

enough......I cannot wait to have this operation....and I NEVER

thought I would hear myself say those words again....not in my whole

life.

I will keep you in my prayers everyday & especially the day of your

surgery. I know you will do just fine & imagine, coming home

standing up straight.....what a MIRACLE. Take good care & know

everyone will be sending positive vibes your way!!!
