Guest guest Posted October 27, 2005 Report Posted October 27, 2005 Not a complete reply, but just for starters, a favorite quotation -- contributed by longtime Buddhist meditation teacher Sharon Salzberg, writing in *Oprah* Magazine . . . . Salzberg cites contemporary classical Indian dancer Sudha Chandran -- suddenly and totally derailed from her art and her profession by the amputation of her right leg. Following the drastoc surgery and fitting of a prosthetic limb, however, Chandran resumed her dancing career. " When asked how she had managed it, " Salzberg writes, " she responded simply, 'You don't need feet to dance.' " . . . . Who or what > has been most helpful in sustaining you along the way? (If you like, > include a favorite inspirational person, book, movie, website, or > quotation.) Quote
